Jolanda van den Berg is an actress and creator who has appeared in major Dutch theatre productions and numerous television series and films, including iHostage, Hein, Dertigers, Pink Moon, Black Out,
and De Boskampi’s.

Alongside her acting career, Jolanda creates and develops original theatre work. She co-created and starred in Who’s Afraid of Woody Allen and NICO, a music theatre production about the iconic lead singer of The Velvet Underground.

Inspired by the international bestseller The Choice by Edith Eger, she conceived and developed
De Dans Ontsprongen, produced by Theater Na de Dam. The production starred Pierre Bokma and prima ballerina Igone de Jongh and was performed at the Royal Theatre Carré.

In 2023, her latest play Duif in Artis premiered at ARTIS, Amsterdam Zoo. Jolanda developed the concept and wrote one of the monologues, alongside acclaimed writers Tom Lanoye and Alfred Schaffer.

As a Creative Developer, she has worked for Millstreet Films, a Dutch production company known for high-end drama with a strong contemporary female perspective.

Jolanda is currently working on her debut novel, to be published by De Bezige Bij.
